Caffeine pouches contain a caffeine ingredient, a filling that holds the formula, flavor ingredients and a pouch wrapper. Some formulas also contain sweeteners or other active ingredients. The exact list differs by brand, flavor and product line. Read both the ingredient list and the stated caffeine amount per pouch.

The wrapper and the filling have different jobs. Do not assume that every white pouch uses identical materials, or that a plant-derived material makes the complete product biodegradable. A sustainability claim needs evidence about the finished pouch, not just one component.
What is in Nectr Energy and Focus+?
Nectr Energy lists 50 mg caffeine per pouch. Nectr Focus+ also lists 50 mg caffeine, with 100 mg L-theanine, 85 mg Alpha-GPC, 85 mg L-tyrosine, 30 mcg Huperzine A, 2 mg vitamin B6 and 2 mcg vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin.
These are active-ingredient amounts, not a complete list of every material in every flavor. Check the can for the full ingredient list. We have not inferred undisclosed fillers, caffeine sourcing, sweeteners or certifications from the words “Energy” or “Focus.”

Nicotine-free, caffeine-free and sugar-free mean different things
Nicotine-free tells you about nicotine, not caffeine. Nectr Energy and Focus+ are nicotine-free but contain caffeine. Nectr Zero contains neither. Sugar-free does not tell you which sweeteners are present, and tobacco-free does not, by itself, establish that a product has no nicotine.

How to compare two ingredient panels
- Match the exact product. Use the same flavor, formula and strength shown in the listing. A review of an earlier version may no longer apply.
- Find the caffeine amount. Look for an amount per pouch. If a label gives an amount per serving, establish how many pouches make one serving.
- Check individual amounts. A total blend weight does not reveal the amount of each ingredient. Ask the manufacturer when information you need is missing.
- Read the remaining ingredients. Do not stop after the highlighted actives or the front-of-can claims.
- Keep claims separate from facts. A listed amount is a label fact. A promise about focus, speed or lack of side effects needs a different kind of evidence.
Published research on an ingredient does not automatically demonstrate the effects of a finished pouch. The dose, formulation and method of use may differ. Avoid treating the number of ingredients as a score for effectiveness.
